🛠️ Soft Porcelain (MCM) Installation Guide

Follow this 6-step professional installation process for best results. Suitable for interior walls, feature walls, storefronts, signage, and exterior facades.

Step-by-Step Application

Step 1 — Surface Preparation	Apply a dedicated primer/interface agent to the substrate. Once dry, snap horizontal and vertical guidelines to ensure accurate alignment.
Step 2 — Adhesive Application	Using a trowel, spread the pre-mixed two-component adhesive onto the back of each soft porcelain sheet. Ensure ≥80% full coverage — no hollow spots.
Step 3 — Placement	Start from external corners first, then fill the main field. Press and slightly slide each sheet to adjust joint width. Finish by tapping evenly with a rubber mallet or grout float to ensure uniform bond.
Step 4 — Joint Filling	Load the two-component grout into a triangular plastic bag. Cut a small opening at the tip and pipe grout into the joints evenly.
Step 5 — Joint Tooling	When the grout is semi-dry (firm but not hard), use a bent steel rod (ø = joint width + 2mm) to strike a concave groove along every joint.
Step 6 — Clean-Up	Brush off excess grout residue. Wipe the entire surface with a damp (not wet) sponge to remove remaining grout haze. Do not over-wet the surface.

Construction Environment Requirements

Curing Time: Allow substrate to cure for ≥24 hours after priming before applying panels.
Temperature: 5°C – 40°C (41°F – 104°F). In summer heat, avoid direct sunlight exposure — use shade screens during application.
Substrate Moisture: Maintain 15%–25% moisture content in the base wall. Do not apply to saturated or bone-dry surfaces without conditioning.
Weather Restrictions: Do NOT install during: wind ≥ Force 5 (≥38 km/h / 24 mph), heavy rain, thunderstorms, hail, snow, or icy conditions. Protect fresh work from rain and falling water from upper floors during the curing period.
